House Rules and General Terms & Conditions
By making a reservation, staying at, or otherwise using the services of Hotel Nes, guests confirm that they agree to comply with the House Rules of Hotel Nes. The house rules apply to all guests, visitors, and users of the hotel premises at all times.
The house rules are written here and also available at the reception and can be provided upon request. Failure to comply with the house rules may result in denial of service, removal from the premises without refund, and/or liability for damages caused.
1. General
- All instructions given by Hotel Nes staff must be followed at all times.
- Guests must not cause any disturbance to other guests, staff, or neighbors.
2. Check-in and Check-out
- Check-in: 2:00 PM onwards
- Check-out: 11:00 AM
- The minimum age for check-in is 18 years old.
3. Room Occupancy
- It is not permitted to occupy a room with more persons than the number of beds available in that room.
- Additional guests are not allowed without prior approval from Hotel Nes.
4. Behaviour and Disturbance
- Noise disturbance, especially between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM, is not permitted.
- In case of repeated or serious disturbance, Hotel Nes reserves the right to terminate the stay immediately.
5. Smoking
- Smoking is strictly prohibited in all rooms and indoor areas of the hotel.
- In case of violation, a fine of €250 will be charged for additional cleaning and restoration costs.
6. Drugs and Alcohol
- The possession, use, or distribution of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited throughout the hotel.
- Excessive alcohol consumption resulting in disturbance or unsafe situations is not permitted.
7. Fire Safety
- It is strictly forbidden to cover, touch, manipulate, or disable fire or smoke detectors.
- A fine of €250 will be imposed for any violation.
- If a guest’s actions endanger the safety of the hotel, other guests, or staff, Hotel Nes reserves the right to:
- Terminate the stay immediately
- Provide no refund
- Recover any damages or costs from the guest
8. Visitors
- Visitors are only permitted with prior approval from the reception.
- The registered guest remains fully responsible for the behaviour of visitors at all times.
9. Pets
- Pets are not allowed at Hotel Nes.
10. Damage and Liability
- Any damage to rooms, inventory, or hotel facilities caused by the guest or their visitors will be fully charged to the guest.
- Hotel Nes is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings, unless caused by intent or gross negligence.
11. Non-Compliance
- In the event of violation of these house rules, Hotel Nes reserves the right to take appropriate measures, including immediate termination of the stay without refund.
12. Applicability of KHN / UVH
- All reservations and agreements of Hotel Nes are subject to the Uniform Conditions for the Hospitality Industry (UVH), as established by Koninklijke Horeca Nederland.
13. Force Majeure
- Hotel Nes shall not be liable for failure, delay, or partial performance of its obligations due to force majeure.
- Force majeure includes any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of Hotel Nes, including but not limited to natural disasters, fire, flooding, pandemics, epidemics, strikes, utility failures, government measures, or other unforeseen events.
- In case of force majeure, Hotel Nes reserves the right to terminate or modify the agreement, in whole or in part, without any obligation to provide compensation or refund, to the extent permitted by law.
Personal data that we process
Hotel Nes processes your personal data because you use our services and / or because you provide them yourself.
Below you will find an overview of the personal data that we process:
- First and last name
- phone number
- E-mail address
- Other personal data that you actively provide, for example by creating a profile on this website, in correspondence and by telephone
- Information about your activities on our website
- Information about your surfing behavior across various websites (for example because this company is part of an advertising network)
Special and / or sensitive personal data that we process
Our website and / or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors under the age of 16. Unless they have permission from their parents or guardian. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data about children from being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal information about a minor without this permission, please contact us via info@hotelnes.nl and we will delete this information.

Hotel Nes processes your personal data for the following purposes:

- To be able to call or e-mail you if necessary to carry out our services
- Hotel Nes also processes personal data if we are legally obliged to do so, such as information that we need for our tax return.

Hotel Nes does not store your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. We use the following retention periods for the following (categories) of personal data:

This data can be removed from our system at any time if requested by the guest.

Hotel Nes provides exclusively to third parties and only if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.

Hotel Nes does not use cookies or similar techniques.
View, modify or delete data
You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw your consent to the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Hotel Nes and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data that we have about you in a computer file to you or another organization mentioned by you.
You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or request for cancellation of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to info@hotelnes.nl.
To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your ID with the request. Make your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN) black in this copy. This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks.
